Main Event Highlights

The East vs West 10 card was full of crazy good matches but three matches stood out among all. These were for the world titles including the 95KG, 105KG, and the super-heavyweight title.

Todd Hutchings vs Kydyrgali Ongarbaev: 105KG World Title

Known for his unstoppable side pressure, Todd Hutchings once again proved that no matter how good you are at performing the top roll, Todd will take your hand to the pin pad. This is exactly what happened in this match.

Todd was able to pin Ongarbaev in all 3 rounds even after having his wrist compromised. No doubt that Ongarbaev is a veteran and probably the best technician in adjusting to different situations but Todd’s side pressure was too much for him.

Ongarbaev forfeited the match after losing 3 rounds, so the final score was 5-0 in favor of Todd Hutchings making him the world’s best 105KG arm wrestler.

John Brzenk vs Sasho Andreev: 95KG World Title

The GOAT of arm wrestling continues showing his skills in the world’s best arm wrestling event but Sasho decided to put a stop to John’s top roll. Even though John was able to maintain a good position in almost every round, he wasn’t able to open Sasho’s hand at all.

Known for his immense side-pressure, Sasho dragged John to the pad in every round. In the 5th round, Sasho tried to top roll John but wasn’t able to open John’s fingers. After a couple of adjustments, Sasho managed to win the last round too pretty easily. The final result is 5-0 in favor of Sasho Andreev making him the strongest arm wrestler in the 95KG category.

Devon Larratt vs Denis Cyplenkov: Main Event: Super Heavyweight World Title

Devon vs Denis was the main highlight of the event. The rivalry between the two started in 2018 with Denis annihilating Devon in the left-hand supermatch pushing Devon to improve drastically. While this was a right-handed super match, we cannot deny that Devon has got super strong since 2018.

With Denis’s recovery after a long time, it was time for the Hulk to prove to the world that he is still in the top tier. However, Devon was too strong for Denis this time and even though Denis made Devon work hard in several rounds, Denis couldn’t do anything except try to defend his hand against hitting the pad.

The result is 5-0 in favor of Devon Larratt making him retain the world super-heavyweight title.
